Roasting Styles

As your coffee is roasted when you order it, it will provide you with the freshest, best tasting, aromatic coffee you’ll ever experience.

Medium Roast
The bean has taken a brown roasted color and it provides you with a rich aromatic coffee that most coffee aficionados prefer. It is at this point that a variety of coffee beans display a more flavorful taste and body than a darker roasted coffee. At this point, there is more caffeine in the coffee than the darker roasts.

Dark Roast
Oh what a sight to see, the beans have gone past the medium stage and approaching the Full City + level (dark brown). The fullness of this roast is to die for. This is a roast that provides a full bodied coffee and has low acidity and at times a strong bittersweet flavor. The difference here is that a fresh roasted bean does not have the bitter aftertaste, but rather a “clean” freshness to it. Enjoy it, your senses will!

JB’s Roast
This is Jake’s favorite roast. It’s where the bean starts to produce an oily shine. This roast is very aromatic when you grind your bean. The fullness of the bean with all its character just fills your senses with its deepest body waiting to be brewed! Those that like a very dark oily roast…this is for you!
